Feather Your Nest Interiors offers an online service making great design available to clients wanting the unique experience of working with a professional designer on a room-by-room basis without breaking the bank.

Through email and phone, you fill out a questionnaire covering your likes and dislikes, your goals for the room and your budget. Then, approximately four weeks later, you'll receive a design portfolio, including a concept board, furniture plan, material & paint swatches, list of resources, designer tips and an explanation of how to put the design together. The portfolio is a convenient size and it's portability allows you to bring it with you on your shopping trips.

It's hard to feel fabulous when your space doesn't reflect it. So, for those who can't afford a top interior designer, simply just don't have the time, or want to do their own purchasing based on a personalized plan, then Mail Order Interior Design could be just what you need! Together, we will achieve a look that is unique to your personality, lifestyle, taste and BUDGET using fresh new ideas and timeless design.

How It Works?

To make this process a success we ask you to provide the following:

Your style inspirations: samples of things you love, for example, a magazine tear out, online photos, or pictures of a space. Show us swatches of paint colors and fabric you like.

Measurements: Use a tape measure to measure each wall, corner to corner. Sketch out an existing floor plan, be sure to include the location of all windows, doors, closets and power outlets. Remember to give us the ceiling height for each room, height of wall sconces, windows and doors, and the dimensions of any built-in's. "Draw your Space" graph (PDF) or (MS Word)

Photos: We require a photo of every wall and one full view shot of the room. But we encourage you to send as many photos as possible. Take pictures of the existing furniture and accessories that you'd like us to include in the design of the room.

Questionnaire: To ensure our client’s needs are satisfied we provide a detailed questionnaire that will help determine the clients style, budget, & design needs. "Questionnaire" (PDF) or (MS Word)

Once your completed Design Questionnaire and other required items are returned, I will call at a time convenient to you to review your information and answer any questions you may have. You will then be sent a request for an online payment from PayPal. Once you’ve completed your transaction, the real fun begins!
